2012 NHRPC Renewal Form

  1. Candidate completes application for membership, either in person at a club meeting or online.
  2. Membership applications are forwarded to the Membership Secretary.
  3. Membership Secretary gives all applications to the Vice President for reading and approval at general monthly meeting.
  4. Upon approval at the meeting, applications are returned to the Membership Secretary who, in turn, will notify the approved applicants of the next orientation (usually the last Saturday of the month)
  5. Training Officer will provide a copy of the club by-laws and range rules at the orientation. Anyone who is unable to attend the orientation will not receive their membership card until the orientation has been completed. Special arrangements for orientation are the responsibility of the applicant. The new member and the Executive Officer will sign the application. The Executive Officer (or designee) will provide a sign-in sheet of the orientation attendees to the Membership Secretary prior to the meeting.
  6. The Membership Secretary will receive payment (dues + initiation fee) from each new member
  7. New member will receive their “probationary membership card” and gate combination when meeting has adjourned and shall be considered a “probationary member” in good standing.
  8. The Membership Secretary will add the new member(s) to the club roster and maintain their information in the permanent records.

All new members are accepted into the club as probationary members for a minimum of 1 year. During the 1-year probationary period, the new member is responsible to meet certain requirements to achieve full member status:

  • All probationary members are required to attend 1 meeting per quarter. (4 total meetings during the 1-year probation).
  • All probationary members are required to participate in 3 club workdays during the 1-year probation.
  • Probationary members may not have keys to any building, storage shed, etc. unless they are on a club committee and the committee chair presents the request to the Executive Board for approval.

It is the responsibility of the probationary member to have his/her card marked for all required activities.

The initiation fee is $250 for Single Membership and $300 for Family Membership and is due at the time of initiation.  Dues are $75. Checks are preferred over cash.
