Saturday Mornings: Nov 9, Dec 14, 2019 & Jan 11, Feb 8, March 14, 2020

Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. Start time at 9:00 a.m.

Entries:

Entries close 15 minutes before the scheduled start time, pre-registration is encouraged and can be made via email. Participants may be required to sign a Liability Agreement if one is not currently on file at the range. Print a waiver here and bring it with you:

Match Conditions:

 

These matches are open to all US Citizen shooters using shooter-provided firearms, equipment, and appropriate safe ammunition. Empty Chamber Indicators (ECI) and use of ear & eye protection is mandatory for match events. Range capacity is 1 Relay of 20 Competitors. For inclement weather, stand-by for email updates.

The match will be conducted by NRA rules as detailed in the NRA high-power rifle rule book.

Rifle Class:

Any center fire rifle or carbine (manual or semi auto) that is safe, clean, and in good working condition that can shoot 10 rounds of ammunition in 60 seconds. Any sight system may be used. Muzzle brakes are not permitted; flash hiders are allowed.

Equipment Needed:

Rifle, ammo (at least 60 rounds), clips or magazines, shooting mat or blanket, spotting scope or binoculars, pen, ear & eye protection, sling, adjustment tools, winter jacket or shooting coat.

Course of Fire:

 

 

 

 

Course of fire: NRA high-power match (500 aggregate national match course 100 yard reduced high-power match).

Line calls will be given for each shooting stage. Each shooter will have a 3 minute preparation period prior to each shooting stage:  

2 sighting shots followed by 10 record shots standing (offhand), 12 minute time period.

2 sighting shots in a 2 minute time period followed by a 10 shot string of sitting rapid fire in 60 seconds by NRA rules.

2 sighting shots in a 2 minute time period followed by a 10 shot string of prone rapid fire in 70 seconds by NRA rules.

2 sighting shots followed by 20 record shots slow fire prone in a 22 minute time period.

Targets:

All targets used will be NRA approved targets for each stage of fire.

Ammunition:

Shooter must bring their own safe ammunition, such as factory, reloads, or surplus.

No tracer, armor piercing, or incendiary ammunition is permitted.

Classification:

NRA classifications, or if you are new we will help you get an NRA classification.

Challenges:

There are no challenges in this match. Extra time may be given for malfunctions or alibis.
