The NHRPC Precision Rifle Program focuses primarily on scoped, precision centerfire rifles. Rifles capable of 1MOA or better are generally well suited to the overall program. Certain platforms** are not well suited to participation for safety reasons, mostly due to ammunition choices and the ability to safely engage targets out to the maximum distance of 700 yards at NHRPC's facilities.
